The Purpose of VCS’s  K4 Program

The K4 Program at VCS is established to provide an educational experience in a warm and friendly atmosphere for children four years of age. Recognizing the importance of a balanced growth, our staff will provide many opportunities for the social, mental, physical, and spiritual development of the child.

The K4 Program is also established as a service to the families and children of the community. This service has grown out of a sincere love for the children and a desire to help in a proper development and adjustment in our modern world.

Aims of VCS’s K4 Program

Our aim is to develop the total personality of each child by providing an educational experience of lasting value:

Intellectually - by exploring and using first hand experiences which help build and enthusiasm for learning.

Physically - by offering experiences which will develop large and small muscle coordination and motor skills.

Socially - by encouraging participation in group activities, getting along with others, this will help bring a feeling of security and belonging.

Spiritually - by inclusion of God’s word interspersed in the daily program with Bible stories and songs.
