My "unique teaching approach" is centered around 1 Peter 5:2-3 NIV Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, watching over them—not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not pursuing dishonest gain, but eager to serve; not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock.

I am blessed with a gracious husband, four beautiful children and a kind Heavenly Father who has lavishly poured His love and mercy out on me.

I believe in being a “student for life.” I love to read and I love to write. Currently, my reading continues to center around English History, and more specifically, Elizabeth I and Mary Shelley.  I dabble in writing/ keeping notes on these subjects and others and simply find great delight in the study of the “individual” on the literature, art, and historical timelines. I dabble in watercolor, fortunately enjoying the process over perfection.

Teaching philosophy:

Words are meant to breathe life.  “Life and death are in the power of the tongue.” Proverbs 18:21  -- Words, the message they send, the power they hold, and the spirit they speak over the individual are worthy of our respect. There is much gravity to the responsibility we hold.  There is also much freedom and satisfaction in their God-given intention put to proper use.
