JAGUAR NEWS

Greetings, VCS friends and family,

We are enjoying the late fall season and have so much to be grateful for and so much to look forward to. Our Volleyball and Soccer teams wrap up their season next week with our MCAC tournament and lead us into “Spirit week” next Monday! It’s a week that we all look forward to.

Any chance we get to celebrate each other, cheer each other on, and encourage one another in the daily walk, the weekly routine, or on the field and courts of life, we are privileged. We each know our own challenges and victories, and to a great degree need to “encourage ourselves in the Lord.” At the same time, “It is better to give than to receive.”

In the homeroom this morning we talked about Philippians 2:1-5.

Is there any encouragement from belonging to Christ? Any comfort from his love? Any fellowship together in the Spirit? Are your hearts tender and compassionate? Then make me truly happy by agreeing wholeheartedly with each other, loving one another, and working together with one mind and purpose.

Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others better than yourselves. Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too.

You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had.

Let’s take this to heart next week throughout “Spirit Week.” This is what it’s all about! Have a beautiful October weekend also!

SPORTS NEWS

Soccer & Volleyball have their first round playoff games tonight. Come out and support the teams. Volleyball will be at 4:30 PM at St. Croix elementary Gym. They will be playing against St. Francis.

Soccer will be at Fourth Baptist in Plymouth at 4PM

Next week the M.C.A.C. Tournament 10/30/2025 – 11/1/20205

Both of the teams have been doing great this season! Good Luck Jaguars!

You are not required to fill out the form, however, we cannot guarantee your student will get a retake photo if they are not on the list.
