About

Valley Christian School was founded in 1979 in St. Croix Falls, WI as a ministry of the Alliance Church of the Valley and has operated continuously since that time. As the years progressed, God blessed the ministry with students from other churches and communities. In the year 2000 with these new families and students involved in the ministry, the Alliance Church of the Valley released Valley Christian School to become the independent, parent-owned; parent board operated ministry that exists today.

Today, parent involvement is the fuel that makes the ministry of Valley Christian School run. The parents are involved on a number of different levels – board of directors, committees, and chaperones to name a few. Parent involvement in the home is also vital for the success of the school. The year 2009 marked the 30th anniversary of the inception of Valley Christian School.

The year 2009 also marked the physical move from the building that had been home for 27 years to a new site at the First Baptist Church, Taylors Falls, MN.

2013 was another bench mark for Valley Christian School. We moved from Taylors Falls, MN to Osceola, WI into Hope Church on the corner of 248th Street and Highway 35!

Valley Christian School is:

  • An attitude where the student is challenged academically and spiritually to become all that he or she can be for the glory of God.
  • A safe environment where the student can forge healthy, long-lasting friendships with their peers.
  • A place where the teachers seek to teach more than just subject content, but to disciple the student to walk closer to God.

Valley Christian School has programs for Kindergarten through 12th grade. These programs offer sound, structured, and rigorous instruction that culminates in students capable of operating effectively at the post-secondary educational level and in the work force. An integral part of this instruction is the month-by-month memorization of various portions of God’s Word. Should a student complete his or her entire elementary and high school education at Valley Christian School, they will have had the opportunity to memorize close to 1300 verses.

Another aspect to Valley Christian School’s program is the sports program. Valley Christian School is a member of the Christian Athletic League (CAL) of eastern Minnesota and western Wisconsin area. This league comprises between 10-12 Christian schools in this region.
