Greetings VCS friends and family,

We in the office hope that all of you had a beautiful and restorative spring break and Resurrection Day celebrating all that Jesus has done so generously on our behalf!  

It has been a flurry of activity in the classrooms and office this week.  With a short four day week we are finding it especially exciting (I think this is the word…) preparing for clean-a-thon, graduation, field trips, and next year! But like I say at home in the kitchen, it’s messy but because we have food to eat and people to eat with us.  We could not be more blessed than to be doing life with you and these students. Like Jesus, they are growing in wisdom, and stature, and favor with God and man! (Luke 2:52)  And we get a front row seat. 

We are praying for each of you and each of your families. We know that along with school, and church, there are responsibilities at home, spring sports and activities, and needed time with family.  I pray often on Fridays that our weekends are a blend of productivity and rest. We can be confident of this, that the Lord is enough and the 24 hours He provides each day is enough.  He has come not to help us “just get by,” but to give us life and life abundantly!  (John 10:10)  We have the privilege and responsibility to stand expectantly and confidently knowing He will meet every need and bless us with energy, insight,wisdom, creativity, and new ideas because we have the mind of Christ and access to Him beyond measure!
