We are busy in the school office preparing for fall 2025!  We are excited to see new and veteran families popping in often now for testing, or soccer and volleyball registration, or to lend a hand with a paint brush!  We miss you and look forward to August 28th when the halls and classrooms will be bursting again with activity and excitement!  

God is at work! The Creator of the universe, the Savior of Israel, the promise keeper Himself has His eyes on us and is doing wonderful things. He is doing new things! 

I have been working my way through the book of Isaiah this summer but had not opened to it this morning before my arrival to school grounds. On my drive to school I found myself praising Him for His provision and blessing. “You fight on our behalf. You are the Lord mighty in battle. You are the one strong to save.  You go before us and are behind us. You are at our right arm. You are our only wisdom and mercy. Your mercy is new every morning and it is new every moment.”  

Today I turned to Isaiah 43 and felt my heart leap at verse 14!  “This is what the Lord says–your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: 

“For your sakes I will send an army against Babylon, forcing the Bablonians to flee in those ships they are so proud of.” 

He has revealed His very character in his love story for Israel and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He is not a passive Savior, but an active one. Truly, He fights on our behalf as a mighty warrior. Not only will He have the victory, but He will see his enemies defeated. He will watch them flee.  And they will flee in those “very ships” they are so proud of.  

I am excited to remember all He has done as it is a reminder of all He is willing to do. He truly is “doing a new thing” as He describes in Isaiah 43:19. His question is,”Do you not see it?” My answer is, “yes!”  

I pray for each one of you and your families that what He is doing is “recognizable.” Praise Him!
