What a winter we are having! I pray some of this snow will soak deep into the ground to make up for last summer that ended in drought. Isaiah 55:10-11 As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. God’s Word, dive into it, soak it in! If you are stuck at home during this snowstorm, I hope it gives you a couple of extra minutes to spend with God in prayer and studying His Word.
Last Friday, our kindergarten through 4th grade visited Como Zoo. It’s very interesting to see how these animals behave in the wintertime vs the traditional summertime zoo visits. We are so grateful for the offers to chaperone. We could not do field trips without you!
