It is an exciting time of summer! The VCS teachers and staff are busy getting ready for our 2023-2024 school year and so grateful for God’s provision. He keeps proving Himself to be more than enough, the Provider, and always true to His character and His name.  

As I consider God’s provision for our school both in staff and families I think of 

Psalm 104:10-14. 

He makes springs pour water into the ravines;

    it flows between the mountains.

11 

They give water to all the beasts of the field;

    the wild donkeys quench their thirst.

12 

The birds of the sky nest by the waters;

    they sing among the branches.

13 

He waters the mountains from his upper chambers;

    the land is satisfied by the fruit of his work.

14 

He makes grass grow for the cattle,

    and plants for people to cultivate—

    bringing forth food from the earth.

He is so good. He is our provider. It is a simple truth proved over and over again.

Last newsletter we introduced our new Math teacher, Mrs. KariMae Faulkner. This week we introduce our new Third grade teacher, Ms. Carly Peikert and our new Science teacher, Ms. Kylie Thompson! We are beyond excited to welcome them and complete our staffing for this fall. God is so good.  Please watch the next newsletter for a word from them as well as our school website reflecting these new additions! 

We also welcome many new families this year! If you are new to the VCS family know you are part of building a beautiful Christ-centered school. God will watch over you and your transition here. We as a body of Christ want to make you feel welcome.
